Our Successes

We are very proud of the success achieved each year by both students and teachers.  Not only do many students achieve excellent results in the many exam sessions but a number achieve success elsewhere.

While with The Weston many students took part in the annual pantomime presented by Newpalm Productions and its predecessors at The Civic Theatre in Chelmsford - in fact, The Weston was the sole provider of dancers to the Civic Theatre pantomime for more than 45 years!.  The European Ballet have invited our students to appear with them when their tours bring them to Chelmsford; many dance with the Chelmsford Ballet Company and the National Youth Ballet, and a number have been successful in recent years in the open auditions held under the new arrangements for the pantomime at The Civic Theatre since Newpalm Productions left.

The Weston has recorded many successes in auditions for Cecchetti Society Scholars and Associates, and Royal Ballet Associates.

Finally, we are delighted that many students over the years have gone on to vocational training and a career connected with dance.
